An entrepreneurship seminar was organized by the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) in collaboration with Ghazni University in the city of Ghazni. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and individuals interested in entrepreneurship.

This practice-oriented seminar was designed to promote an entrepreneurial culture, strengthen practical skills, and introduce economic opportunities for youth. Throughout the program, key topics were explored, including the fundamentals and requirements of entrepreneurship, locally available opportunities, the role of entrepreneurship in poverty reduction and economic development, as well as practical approaches to transforming ideas into viable businesses.

A significant portion of the seminar was dedicated to practical and applied presentations, through which participants were introduced to practical steps for launching small businesses, methods for identifying opportunities, and pathways for engaging in entrepreneurship programs. Additionally, an interactive platform was provided for young participants to share their perspectives, ideas, and experiences.

Participating students described the seminar as a valuable opportunity for learning and personal development. Bilal Karimi noted:
“This seminar was highly inspiring for me. I learned how to create opportunities from limited resources and how to transform my ideas into practical initiatives.”

Also, Abdul Alim Jalalzai; another participant stated:
“The most important lesson I learned is that entrepreneurship is not merely about having capital; rather, it is about having ideas, planning, and taking action. This program has significantly changed my perspective on my professional future path.”

The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates, the presentation of books, and a networking session among participants. Organizers emphasized that such initiatives reflect a growing recognition of the critical role that youth play in the country’s economic development and can contribute to generating sustainable employment opportunities and reducing poverty within society.
