Entrepreneurship Seminar: A Platform for Awareness and Connection for the Youth of Parwan
In collaboration with the Danesh Institute of Higher Education, the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) brought together university professors, young people, entrepreneurs, and knowledge seekers at the Parwan Entrepreneurship Seminar.
Speakers and mentors emphasized universities’ vital role in nurturing entrepreneurship, underlining how entrepreneurial thinking can lead to meaningful transformation, encourage progress, and help reduce unemployment and poverty by cultivating an entrepreneurial culture. They also highlighted how entrepreneurship can serve as a pathway to economic well-being.
The seminar discussed the essential building blocks for entrepreneurship, including enhancing creative problem-solving, developing practical abilities, and learning how to navigate and manage risks. It also shed light on the existing challenges and promising prospects in Afghanistan’s entrepreneurial scene, particularly within Parwan province.
Participants shared their thoughts on various aspects of entrepreneurship and talked about the untapped potential in Parwan. They pointed out that with careful planning, proper investment, and effective use of resources, these opportunities could open doors to lasting employment and solid economic growth in northern Kabul.
The Parwan Entrepreneurship Seminar, held in the city of Charikar with the active participation of the youth from Parwan province, created an opportunity to gain awareness about the benefits of entrepreneurship and sparked motivation for change and development through entrepreneurial pathways among young people.
In appreciation of the collaboration with Danesh Institute of Higher Education, AELSO restated its commitment to facilitating and expanding a space for the exchange of ideas, scientific dialogue, and discussion to help Afghanistan move toward sustainable development, laying the foundation for prosperity, stability, and progress in society.
