Sayed Mustafa Saiedy was born in a Muslim, enlightened and middle-class family in Kabul Afghanistan. He started his education in Khair Khana and showed to be a very promising student during his time at school. After graduation from high school he was employed to a number of official positions such as the ministry of repatriation and refugees, administrative office of the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the diplomacy institute of the ministry of foreign affairs.
Mr. Saiedy holds a bachelor degree in Persian language and literature from Kabul University, two master’s degree including one from the prestigious ISBM University of India and currently doing his PhD on Persian literature from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in Iran.
Mr. Saiedy aside from doing his higher education in prestigious universities of the country and abroad has also participated in a number of short-term programs that have proved to be prominent in his great leadership skills he acquired over the years. Mr. Saiedy was also successfully engaged in a number of cultural activities across the country from directing famous magazines and monthlies to producing more than 200 research papers and articles for national and international journals. Mr. Saiedy is author of a dozen books which are published in the country. Mr. Saiedy, being one of the family members of Afghanistan’s intellectual family has received more than a dozen prestigious awards from national and international institutions including the second-degree Certificate of appreciation form the Afghanistan Presidential palace.
Currently Mr. Saiedy is the Vice Chancellor of Rana University and a board member of the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO).
