Study the Role of the Green Economy in Managing Climate Change and Sustaining Water Resources in Afghanistan

The purpose of the present research is practical. This research is based on the library method, in which previous studies related to this research have been reviewed and investigated. The findings of this research are as follows: Interest in the green economy causes an increase in investment and an improvement in employment; reduction in unemployment and poverty; redistribution of income between community members; using natural resources (water) to meet the needs of creating housing and green spaces, tourist parks,  and recreational areas; specialization of the productivity of natural resources; management of family resources (savings, workforce, and equipment); and decrease the effects of harmful substances (by relocating crops of grains and legumes instead of planting drugs such as poppy, heroin, marijuana, etc.). Likewise, the continuation of the process of greening the environment and construction in these fields has unfortunate consequences such as limiting agricultural resources; clearing forests and gardens and destroying garden crops in order to create buildings and garden spaces; spreading noise and environmental pollution from tourists and stakeholders of the environment and the green environment (parks and places of environmental and tourist interests); referring women and children to work; and the continuation of construction, which is also one of the findings of this research and arises as a result of the green economy. Although Afghanistan has recently been facing the negative effects of climate change, these effects are caused by the lack of management of the green economy in this country.
