Entrepreneurship Seminar: Opening Doors for Kabul’s Young Innovators
The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO), together with Bakhtar University, recently welcomed university professors, young people, entrepreneurs, and curious minds to the Kabul Entrepreneurship Seminar.
Speakers and trainers shared how universities can play a key role in nurturing entrepreneurial thinking, how entrepreneurship can spark change and development, and how embracing this mindset can help tackle unemployment and poverty. They highlighted the importance of building skills, managing risks, responding to market needs, and using entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic growth and prosperity.
The seminar also explored the core aspects of entrepreneurship; creative thinking, skill development, and the courage to take risks while examining the challenges and opportunities unique to Kabul’s business landscape.
Participants exchanged ideas, shared personal insights, and identified local entrepreneurial opportunities that, with thoughtful planning and investment, could create lasting employment and drive economic progress in the city.
The event served as an inspiring platform, showing young people the power of entrepreneurship to bring positive change and motivate them to take action for development.
Acknowledging Bakhtar University’s support, AELSO emphasized its ongoing commitment to fostering academic exchange and dialogue, aiming to help Afghanistan grow into a vibrant entrepreneurial society that values innovation, prosperity, and sustainable development.
