The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) with cooperation of Rana University organized a full day summit under the title of “Young Leaders Summit for the Future of Afghanistan” with the aim of education of the free society values, how youths can work for a better future of Afghanistan by their political, economical and social participation and what are the practical steps to make the future of Afghanistan great in 3rd December 2019 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
On this summit more than 380 university students, civil and human rights activists, and policy makers participated. also a number of well-known Afghan scholars, politicians, and human rights activist, well known writers and journalist shared their thoughts and views to how we work for the future of Afghanistan in order to be a free and prosperous society.
On this summit we also had the honor of hosting of Dr. Tom G. Palmer, George M. Yeager Chair for Advancing Liberty and an international advocates and scholars who is working for promotion and education of the classical liberal ideas across the world. Dr. Palmer talked about Leadership in a Freedom Movement for the participants of this summit.
The summit was covered by more than 10 national and international media who are working in Afghanistan and they all broadcasted the summit on their many programs.
The summit covers various topics, from the contribution of free markets to prosperity, the importance of human rights and the rule of law, to the connection between religion and individual liberty.
In different group working the young leaders of Afghanistan concluded and presented their ideas for bringing of peace, liberty and prosperity in Afghanistan.
