The Entrepreneurship Seminar was organized by the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) in collaboration with Bamika University in Bamyan City. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and individuals interested in entrepreneurship.
The scientific and practice-oriented seminar was designed to promote an entrepreneurial culture, strengthen practical skills, and introduce economic opportunities for young people. Throughout the program, discussions focused on the requirements of entrepreneurship, locally available opportunities, the role of entrepreneurship in poverty reduction and economic development, and practical approaches for transforming innovative ideas into economic activities.
A significant part of the seminar was dedicated to educational and practical presentations, through which participants were introduced to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, steps for launching small businesses, methods of identifying economic opportunities, and pathways for engaging in entrepreneurship training and competition programs. An interactive “Youth Ideas” session also provided participants with an opportunity to share their perspectives on entrepreneurial opportunities in Bamyan Province.
Participants described the seminar as a valuable platform for learning, exchanging experiences, and gaining a better understanding of economic opportunities. Many young attendees highlighted the importance of such initiatives in increasing motivation, building self-confidence, and encouraging youth to pursue innovative business ventures.
The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates, the presentation of books to the leadership and faculty members of Bamika University, and a networking session among participants.
Organizers emphasized that expanding educational and promotional programs in entrepreneurship can play a significant role in empowering youth, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and supporting economic development and social welfare in Afghanistan.
