Youth in Kunduz became familiar with entrepreneurial skills
The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO), in collaboration with Salam University, organized an entrepreneurship seminar in Kunduz province.
The speakers at the event highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s era, discussing its role in poverty reduction, sustainable employment, social change, improving quality of life, promoting social prosperity, and economic development. They emphasized entrepreneurship as the key driver of social transformation and economic prosperity, stressing the need to establish entrepreneurial universities and communities.
The speakers at the event attributed a significant part of the transformation, change, and progress in the economic sectors of developed countries to entrepreneurship. They emphasized the urgent need for entrepreneurship to become a dominant discourse in Afghanistan.
The program mentors provided practical discussions on various aspects of entrepreneurship and offered scientific guidelines to the participants. These guidelines were intended to serve as a roadmap for participants to grow and strengthen their businesses. Additionally, essential guidance was provided regarding participation and competition in the AELSO 2025 Entrepreneurship Camp.
In another part of the seminar, entrepreneurial opportunities in Kunduz province were discussed. The participants highlighted opportunities in sectors such as agriculture and livestock, establishing factories, and strengthening domestic production. Emphasis was placed on the capacity of entrepreneurship to reduce poverty and promote economic development.
At the end of the program, the organizers emphasized the necessity of innovative thinking, risk-taking, acquiring new knowledge and skills, fostering an entrepreneurial culture, expanding and strengthening entrepreneurial capacities, creating supportive platforms, and participating in and competing at the Entrepreneurship Camp. They regarded the seminar as an important step in supporting entrepreneurs and inspiring the drive to become entrepreneurs, calling for the continuation of such seminars.
The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization, while expressing gratitude to all the speakers, guests, mentors, participants, and Salam University, emphasizes the continuation of such programs. It will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide supportive and educational platforms to promote an entrepreneurial culture.
