Women’s Leadership Academy
The Women’s Leadership Academy is a comprehensive program designed to equip Afghan women with essential skills and knowledge in leadership, advocacy, and academic essay writing. The academy also covers topics related to democracy, liberty, tolerance, and the values of a free society. Its main goal is to create a network of Afghan women and girls from across the country, providing education and empowerment to advocate for women’s rights in Afghanistan. The academy’s programs are facilitated by prominent trainers and scholars from both Afghanistan and abroad
The programs of the academy are divided into three terms for a year, with each term consisting of 12 virtual online courses and other engaging academic activities for 3 months. It presents an opportunity for over 250 Afghan women from all 34 provinces of the country in a year to actively participate and contribute to the community and collaborating with the AELSO team on various projects and activities.
