Women’s Leadership Academy Fellowship at AELSO
Under the initiative of The Women’s Leadership Academy, AELSO proudly presents The Women’s Leadership Fellowship, an exclusive opportunity for Afghanistan women to empower themselves with essential leadership, advocacy, fundraising, and entrepreneurial skills. This program is designed to foster an understanding of human dignity, prosperity, and economic development, equipping participants to become impactful community leaders. By the end of the theoretical part of the fellowship, participants will not only have the knowledge and skills needed to excel but will also be able to start their own businesses. Additionally, AELSO will provide participants with the opportunity to secure financial support through competitive Entrepreneurship Camp organized by AELSO periodically, ensuring they have a platform to showcase their ideas and gain resources to transform them into successful ventures. At AELSO, we firmly believe that a country can only thrive when women play an equal role in every sector of development.
Program Details
Duration:
- 2 months of theoretical studies with one class per week.
- 3 months of practical tasks to apply the knowledge gained.
Key Features:
- Learn from renowned speakers from Afghanistan and across the globe.
- Develop your skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, and advocacy.
- Write an article for a chance to be published on AELSO’s website under your name.
- Train and mentor at least 5 other girls on the topics learned during the fellowship program.
- Receive a certificate and financial support to launch your own initiatives and become a valuable contributor to Afghanistan’s progress.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be citizen of Afghanistan.
- Must be present within Afghanistan.
- Aged between 23 to 40 years.
- Passionate about human dignity, economic growth, entrpreneurship, social justice, and peace.
- Able to demonstrate strong potential and commitment to these ideas.
