The Bamyan youths have learned practical entrepreneurship skills
The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO), Considering valuable experiences and learnings from the Entrepreneurship Camp-2023, has initiated a series of practical Entrepreneurship Seminars across the provinces of Afghanistan as part of its strategic vision for a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan.
The Entrepreneurship Seminar, aimed at introducing and identifying opportunities and utilizing existing entrepreneurial opportunities for economic development, prosperity, and ending poverty, organized by the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization with collaboration of Bamika University. This seminar brought together young individuals, professors, and students in Bamyan province.
Speakers and trainers of the Entrepreneurship Seminar provided practical insights on topics related to prosperity, entrepreneurship, economic development, and poverty reduction for the participants. Further, during the seminar, the book “An Introduction to Entrepreneurship” by Eamonn Butler was introduced, offering practical guidance to young individuals interested on participating in Entrepreneurship Camp-2024. This camp is one of AELSO’s strategic initiatives aimed at supporting youth economic projects and startup business for the economic development, prosperity and ending poverty in Afghanistan.
Mohammad Hanif Farzan, the Chairman of the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization, discussed the AELSO’s strategic vision regarding entrepreneurship and prosperity. Qudratullah Raha, the chancellor of Bamika University, highlighted the role of universities in promoting and institutionalizing of entrepreneurial and prosperity knowledge in Afghanistan.
In the second part of the program, Abdul Qaher Beheshti the programs director of the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization, discussed about entrepreneurship and its requirements; providing practical solutions for inspiring entrepreneurship, Mirza Hussein Attai, lecturer of the Bamika University, discussed about the effective strategies for achieving economic development, prosperity and ending poverty in Afghanistan, by presenting practical and up-to-date information for program participants.
The program continued with discussions and responses to participants’ questions, encouraging young individuals to take practical steps towards entrepreneurship and ending poverty in Afghanistan. Throughout this practical journey of youth engagement in entrepreneurship and ending poverty, the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization, along with its strategic partners, supports the involvement of young people into the market as new entrepreneurs.
In the concluding remarks of the Entrepreneurship Seminar, Rahmatullah Rafat, the Academic Vice Chancellor of Bamika University, described entrepreneurship as the pursuit of opportunities without being constrained by resource limitations. He urged young individuals to effectively utilize the entrepreneurship opportunities provided by AELSO.
In the final segment of the Entrepreneurship Seminar, the latest books from the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization, were presented to Bamika University Leadership, and certificates were distributed to program participants.
