The youth and entrepreneurs in Bamyan have been equipped with entrepreneurial skills

The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO), in collaboration with Bamika University, organized an entrepreneurship seminar in Bamyan province.

The speakers at the event highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s era and discussed its role in poverty reduction, sustainable employment, social change, improving quality of life, enhancing social well-being, and economic development. They presented entrepreneurship as a remedy for solving the issue of unemployment in society.

In this seminar, the speakers attributed the economic development of developed countries to entrepreneurship and emphasized the need to turn entrepreneurship into a dominant discourse in society.

The program mentors provided specialized discussions on various aspects of entrepreneurship and offered scientific guidelines to the participants. These guidelines were intended to serve as a roadmap for the participants to grow and strengthen their businesses. Additionally, necessary instructions regarding participation and competition in the AELSO Entrepreneurship Camp 2025 were also provided to the attendees.

In another part of the seminar, entrepreneurial opportunities in Bamyan province were discussed. Participants highlighted opportunities in areas such as tourism, agriculture, livestock, handicrafts, and local production. Emphasis was placed on the potential of entrepreneurship to reduce poverty and promote economic development.

At the conclusion of the program, the organizers emphasized the need for innovative thinking, risk-taking, acquiring modern knowledge and skills, fostering an entrepreneurial culture, expanding and strengthening entrepreneurial capacities, creating supportive platforms, and participating in the Entrepreneurship Camp. They regarded the seminar as an important step in supporting the development of an entrepreneurial society.

The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization, while expressing gratitude to all speakers, guests, mentors, media, participants, and Bamika University, emphasized the continuation of such programs.
