Baishali is an Independent Consultant who has been working with think tanks and startups globally for the past three years. She is former Director of Development and Strategy at Centre for Civil Society, India’s leading think tank and Founding Trustee of India Institute that promotes dignity, choice and enterprise through innovative research, evidence- based policy advocacy and litigation for free market policies. Her experience of over 17 years’ spans across public policy, business and organisation development, strategic planning, fundraising, communications, PR and training. She was Director of the Asia Centre for Enterprise (2012-2015), a social change seed partnership launched by Atlas Network  and Centre for Civil Society to identify and support individuals and organizations that promote liberal ideas and policies in Asia. Prior to her development sector stint, she was a journalist for over five years and has served as Editor, Associate and Assistant Editor for Nepal’s leading business, women’s and lifestyle magazines. She holds a master’s degree in Zoology from the University of North Bengal, a Think Tank MBA from Atlas Leadership Academy, Atlas Network, USA and is a graduate of Harvard Business School Strategic Non-Profit Management India 2019 program.
