AELSO’s statement in regards to continuing its activities
Over the past two decades, the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) has been voluntarily contributing to promoting human values and institutionalizing the compatibility of these values with Islamic values as well as Afghanistan’s economic growth.
These activities were aimed at mutual acceptance, pluralism, enlightenment and the fight against corruption, in the form of writing books and articles, translating books, launching field research, facilitating lectures, seminars, symposiums and conferences, as well as producing and broadcasting completely independent radio programs, which were done without any touching & link to the political issues of the country.
Considering the current situation of the country, the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) sees more need for promoting the values of tolerance, social peace, human values, and activities toward improving country’s economic situation as well as humanitarian services. To achieve this important goal, AELSO is continuing its volunteer activities towards institutionalizing the compatibility of the teachings of the holy religion of Islam with human values, and provision of humanitarian services for the deserving citizens of the country as well as growth & prosperity of our beloved country Afghanistan with the aim of moving forward the intellectuals & thinkers caravan toward a prosperous and independent Afghanistan and lead the society towards reconciliation, prosperity and economic growth.
Undoubtedly, the holy religion of Islam has descended many religious teachings for a dignified life and the preservation of human dignity in society, and it is a great honor that the Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) has carried out its mission for many years in order to institutionalize and promote religious teachings in an academic way align with modern literature of today’s society through publishing books and articles as well as organizing valuable programs. Now, in continuation to this path, the activities and programs of this organization will continue towards enlightenment, initiating ideas, and institutionalizing the values and efficient economic activities for our fellow citizens.
The Afghanistan Economic and Legal Studies Organization (AELSO), by taking this opportunity expresses its gratitude and deep appreciation for the support and cooperation of all its volunteer members throughout Afghanistan and assures all the citizens of the country particularly its volunteers that we will continue our efforts toward promoting the culture of volunteerism, stronger than the past and will act independently by taking effective steps towards developing economic and social situation of Afghan citizens.
