Afghanistan Economic & Legal Studies Organization (AELSO) under the AELSO Academy project and in cooperation with The White Assembly (our partner organization) organized a one-day academic discourse under the title of \u201cPeace, Liberty and Opposing of Radicalism\u201d in 17th<\/sup> of Marchr 2020 in Paktia province, Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paktia province is one of the insecure provinces of Afghanistan which is always under the attack of insurgents groups and located in the east of the country. This province is divided into thirteen districts and has a population of roughly 525,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event had more than 100+ participants which most of them were university students, civil society and human rights activists, journalists, and Islamic scholars. On this event a number of well-known Afghan scholars who are working actively for promotion of liberty and opposing of radicalism in Afghanistan shared their ideas and concepts on how to fight against extremism and bring peace, tolerance, liberty and prosperity in Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a part of this event the new edition of our CDs \u201cIdeas for Peace and Prosperity\u201d which contains hundreds of books, articles, radio and video programs, Afghanistan national laws and human rights conventions with the object of education and promotion of free society values and its compatibility with Islam religion in Afghanistan also distributed to the participants of the event. Thanks to our great donors and partner organization \u201cNetwork for a Free Society\u201d for supporting of this project to print these CDs in Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n
